This a family favorite! Originally used as an appetizer or potluck item, my friend has used as the sauce for cheesey potatoes. Very delicious!

- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups milk
- 2 pounds kraft american cheese, cubed (blue box)
- 4 ounces jar, pimentos, drained
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 - loaves french bread cut into cubes
How To Make cheese fondue-it's amazing

Step 1Soak onion soup in ½ cup of water for 5 minutes.

Step 2In a sauce pan on medium-low, heat butter and milk until butter is melted.

Step 3Add onion soup, cheese, pimentos and flour to milk/butter mix.

Step 4Using ladle transfer some of the mixture into blender and blend until smooth. Pour back into pan. Continue this process until all cheese is smooth.

Step 5Cook on low until thick.

Step 6Transfer to slow cooker or fondue pot to keep warm.

Step 7Serve using fondue forks or ladle over French bread cubes, or try your favorite veggies.
