My family loves cabbage and this dish is pretty tasty, I dont remember where I got this recipe I have had it a long time.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs
    ground beef
  • 1 large
    onion
  • 1 small
    head cabbage
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomato
  • 1- 8oz can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 c
    hot cooked rice

How to Make Cabbage and Ground Beef Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef and onion
    Transfer to a slow cooker
    Mix together tomato sauce, diced tomato, cinnamon, salt and pepper
    Slice cabbage into small wedges (8ths)
    Top beef with cabbage then pour the tomato mixture over all
    Cook for 8-10 hours on low
    Serve over rice
