Ingredients
- 24 ounces small curd cottage cheese
- 3 - eggs
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 20 ounces frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained (or use fresh!)
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained (8 3/4 ounce can)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 dashes hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
How To Make broccoli swiss cheese casserole

Step 1Combine the first 4 ingredients in the container of a blender or food processor. Process on high for 1 minute or until smooth, stopping once to scrape down the sides. Set aside.

Step 2Combine the broccoli and the next 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Add the reserved cottage cheese mixture; stir well. Pour into a lightly greased shallow 2 quart casserole dish.

Step 3Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over low heat; add the breadcrumbs and cook until golden, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat; stir in the bacon.

Step 4Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
