Broccoli/Rice Casserole

Always a winner !! Good way to get kids to eat broccoli. I've been asked for this recipe a million times!

2 box
frozen chopped broccoli
1 box
(small) minute rice
3/4 pkg
lg. velveeta cheese, cubed
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 medium
onion, chopped
3 stick
celery, chopped
1 stick
butter or margarine


1Saute' onion and celery until tender in butter or margarine. Cook rice and broccoli according to pkg. directions.
2In large mixing bowl, add cubed cheese and soups, stir to mix. Add hot ingredients as they become ready (rice, onion, broccoli) and stir. This will help to melt down the cheese.
3Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray and add casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Enjoy !!
