Simple summer time recipe for those weekend bar-b-q's. These beans have a sweet and spicy kick to them. It will be a hit at your next gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans baked pork and beans
  • 3 tablespoons brown mustard
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 package lean bacon
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish

How To Make baked beans

  • Step 1
    Put all the ingredients (except the bacon) in a bowl and mix well. All the flavors should mix well and have a sweet and spicy taste to it. I adjust the ingredients until it has just the right amount of kick to it.
  • Step 2
    Once mixed, put in a casserole pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • Step 3
    Take your bacon and put it on the top of the beans, overlap each strip until the top is covered.
  • Step 4
    Bake on 350 deg. for 45 minutes. The bacon should be dark and the beans bubbly.
  • Step 5
    Remove and let it sit for about 15 minutes and serve.
