This recipe was given to me by my Aunt Zelma in 1979. I fix it for every get together my family has and for every holiday. I have taken it to church quite a lot, too. It is like comfort food!!!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 jar cheez whiz
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 - bag of chopped broccoli
- 2 1/2 cups instant rice
How To Make aunt zelma's broccoli casserole

Step 1Melt stick of butter, cheez whiz and cream of mushroom soup in large saucepan until creamy and smooth.

Step 2Add celery, minced onion, thawed, chopped broccoli and stir well. Then add instant rice and stir well. (Rice is NOT cooked.)

Step 3Pour into 9x13 casserole or cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 mins. Give or take a little bit.
