Super Easy Puerto Rican Rice and Beans

I use this as a side dish and as a main course.
Ingredients
-
216 oz cans goya red or kidney beans
-
1 largewaxy potato, cut to 1/2 inch dice
-
1packet goya sazon con culantro y annato seasoning
-
116 oz can tomato sauce
-
1 1/2 Tbsphomemade sofrito, or packaged - i use goya
-
·olive oil
-
·salt to taste
-
·cooked rice, any kind
How to Make Super Easy Puerto Rican Rice and Beans
- In a pot, sauté the sofrito in a little olive oil for a couple of minutes.
- Add all the remaining ingredients except the rice and cook covered until the diced large waxy potato is tender.
- Serve over rice.
