I have had persons ask "How to Cook PERFECT Rice", as they just have a problem Cooking rice. So I hope this may help beginning New Cooks or any Persons having difficulity Cooking Perfect Rice. DO NOT WASH RICE, I USE ONLY LONG GRAIN RICE. Note: Pearl rice becomes gummy if used. I have never had my rice fail me, following my directions to a T. "RICE" good anytime, breakfast Lunch dinner and snack desserts too.

Ingredients

  • BRING WATER/ SALT & OIL TO A BOIL
  • 2 C - water
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 Tbs - butter or cooking oil
  • ADD RICE THEN COVER
  • 1 cup - long grain rice ( do not wash rice) use only long grain rice
  • LOWER HEAT TO SIMMER, COVER AND SIMMER 20 MINUTES, (SET TIMER)

  • Step 1
    Bring salted water & oil to Rolling boil before adding long grain rice. ADD RICE.
  • Step 2
    COVER with a lid; Lower Heat to simmer. SIMMER 20 min. remove from heat. Fluff with fork, Note: the oil or butter keeps rice from being sticky . ENJOY, you should have perfect rice.
