This is my moms green bean cassarole and we make it every thanksgiving and everyone loves it.

  • 1 pkg
    frozen green beans
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1/2 small can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 pkg
    bacon bits (or to your taste)
  • 1/2 can(s)
    french fried onions
  • 1/2 pkg
    grated chedder cheese

How to Make Mom's Green Bean Cassarole


  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Place in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-30 minute.
  3. About 5 minutes before finished, top casserole around outside edges with other half of french fried onions and grted cheddar cheese.
  4. Continue baking until onions are golden brown and cheese has melted.
