Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups dry lentils
- 3/4 cup brown rice
- 5 cups broth of choice
- 1 tablespoon dry minced onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1-1 1/2 cups grated cheese of choice (optional)
How To Make lentils & brown rice

Step 1Combine all into a rice cooker or 13 X 9 baking dish that has been greased.

Step 2Either cook in rice cooker until done or cover the baking dish tightly with foil & bake at 350' for about 1 hour.

Step 3**When the rice is done you can sprinkle on some grated cheese, cover & sit 5 minutes for cheese to melt. This is good with plain nonfat youghurt dolloped on top as well.
