Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp
    unsalted sweet cream butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 2 c
    jasmine rice
  • 3 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 4
    garlic bouillon cubes , or 1 teaspoon garlic powder + 1 teaspoon sea salt3
  • 3 c
    water

How to Make Garlicy Jasmine Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat a dutch oven over medium heat for 3 minutes.
    Add the butter, rice onions and parsley.
    Place the garlic bouillon cubes in the water and stir to dissolve.
  2. Stir fry the rice until about half the kernels take on a white appearance.
  3. Add the water to the rice, stir it well once, bring to a simmer, cover and let cook for 10-15 minutes undisturbed.
  4. Once the rice is done, stir it well, check for salt. Add more if needed.
