Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup extra long white rice
- 1 tablespoon chinese five spice powder (make your own link in comments)
- 1 tablespoon finely minced fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 1-1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup julienned red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions (or green onions)
- 1 cup frozen english peas & carrots, defrosted
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- - chopped zest of 1 lime

Step 1Preheat oven to 350º.

Step 2In a heavy flameproof casserole, heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the rice, five spice powder and ginger and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly Add the chicken broth, sherry, and red peppers.

Step 3Cover the casserold with aluminum foil and bake in oven for 30 minutes Remove from oven, stir in the scallion, peas, soy sauce and lime zest. Serve immediatelyl
