Ingredients

  • 1 bag boil-in-bag white rice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How To Make easy rice pudding

  • Step 1
    Cook the rice according to directions on package. Set aside to cool.
  • Step 2
    In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch. Add milk and eggs, mixing well.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the rice and bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Step 4
    Remove from heat and add the butter and vanilla, stirring until butter is melted.
  • Step 5
    Pour into serving bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm.
