curried orange rice
I love this recipe because I can put it in the oven and then concentrate on cooking something else. LOL. Great for when I'm grilling seafood or chicken outside and can't stand inside stirring!

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 - orange, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
How To Make curried orange rice

Step 1Combine all the ingredients in an ungreased 2 quart casserole dish, stirring well.

Step 2Cover and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid has all been absorbed.

Step 3Serve immediately.
