  • 2 cups uncooked brown rice
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How To Make brown rice and texas pecan dressing

  • Step 1
    Combine rice, broth and salt; heat to boiling, stirring once. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes. Spray skillet with nonstick spray. Cook onion, celery and garlic until tender. Stir in cooked rice. Add pepper, poultry seasoning and pecans. Serve with roast turkey or baked chicken.
