How to Make Basmati rice
1On medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent about 3 minutes.
2Add the rice and stir well to fully coat with butter. Add the water and salt, cover and cook until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
3Turn off the heat and allow to sit covered for 5-10 minutes.
4Add the scallions and parsley, fluff with a fork and serve.
