5 lbyukon gold potatoes
2 cparmesan cheese
1 cfresh chives, chopped
1 1/2 ccream cheese
1/2medium head garlic, peeled and minced

How to Make The Best Mashed Potatoes
- Bring a pot of salter water to a boil. Add potatoes; cook until tender but still firm. Drain and return to stove over low heat to dry for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add butter, parmesan cheese, chives, cream cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Use a potato masher to mash until smooth and serve.
- Variations: Boil garlic cloves with the potatoes and add milk to add smoothness. If not a big garlic fan, use 1/3 of what is called for.
