I adopted this recipe concept from this site- but, I think I changed it so much , it would be unrecognizable. My family loves it too and I love this recipe because, it's quick and easy. I like the addition of the cinnamon,nutmeg and orange juice with the sweet potatoes.
Cook chops in skillet until brown on both sides. Place in ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Combine soup mix , water,orange juice, sugar and spices. Mix well. Pour over chops.Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 375^.
Arrange potatoes around chops. Spoon juice from pan over chops and potatoes. Top each chop with orange and apple slices.
Mix baking mix and the orange juice; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop dough by 12 Tablespoons onto chops and potatoes. Bake uncovered until biscuits are light brown, 20-25 minutes. Spoon juice from pan over each serving.
