This is a quick and easy side dish. The sweet and spicy combination is wonderful! You can prepare these ahead of time and toss the bag in the fridge and pull it out when ready! These are also great for a different side dish for Thanksgiving!

Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- - coarse kosher salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
How To Make sweet and spicy sweet potatoes

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Step 2Put olive oil in a large mixing bowl or Ziploc bag, then add the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, chili powder, salt and cayenne pepper and mix. Add the potatoes and toss until they’re evenly coated with the seasoning. Spread onto a baking sheet.

Step 3Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then turn the potatoes over with a spatula, and continue baking until the sweet potatoes are golden and tender, 10 to 15 minutes more.
