- 500 grams fresh string/green beans,topped - tailed and finely chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, russets diced finely
- 1 teaspoon ginger, finely slivered
- 2 medium chilies green, fresh deseeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons grape seed/ or canola oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 100 milliliters warm water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
How To Make string/green beans with melt in u mouth potato

Step 1heat oil in non stick heavy frying pan with a lid.

Step 2add whole cumin seeds,chopped green chilies and lower heat to medium.

Step 3add chopped string/green beans,finely diced potatoes, turmeric powder and 100 ml. warm water.

Step 4allow to cook, stirring covered on medium heat,until they are tender.

Step 5season with salt and lemon juice.

Step 6serve with flat bread/steamed rice or serve as a snack topped with toasted sesame seeds or crushed peanuts.
