How To Make slow cooker potatoes au gratin
-
Step 1Scrub potatoes and peel, if desired (I left peels on). Slice 1/8-inch thick.
-
Step 2Coat a 3-4 quart slow cooker liner with nonstick cooking spray.
-
Step 3In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until combined. Whisk in milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in cheeses, until melted.
-
Step 4Place half the potatoes in bottom of liner, sprinkle half the onions over. Pour half the cheese sauce over. Repeat with remaining potatoes, onion and sauce.
-
Step 5Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours or on low 5-6 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Serve.
