Potluck Potato Casserole
Just about every family gathering, holiday you can count on this dish being on the table.
2 lbhash brown potatoes, frozen
1/2 cbutter, melted
1/2 conion, chopped
1 can(s)(10 3/4oz) cream of chicken soup
1 ptsour cream
2 csharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 ccorn flakes crushed with 1/4 cup melted butter
How to Make Potluck Potato Casserole
- Defrost potatoes. Combine in large mixing bowl with 1/2 cup butter, salt and pepper. Add onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese. Blend thoroughly. Pour into buttered casserole. Cover with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- NOTE: This can be prepared the day before, or if you want to serve only half the recipe, use 2 smaller dishes and freeze one. When frozen, remove from freezer 20 minutes before baking Add crumbs just before baking.
