I got this from Taste of Home's Holiday Recipes years ago and use it every Thanksgiving. I'm not allowed to change anything in it or the kids can tell immediately and start a loud protest.

Ingredients
- 3 cups cold mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cold butter
How To Make mom's sweet potato bake

Step 1In a mixing bowl, beat sweet potatoes, sugar,milk, softened butter, eggs,salt, and vanilla until smooth.

Step 2Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish.

Step 3Topping: In a small bowl,combine brown sugar,pecans and flour; cut in cold butter until crumbley. Sprinkle over potato mixture.

Step 4Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 49-50 minutes or until golden brown.
