My Mother Used to make this often in the 1960's

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 4 large carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons flour to thicken

How To Make mom's 1 skillet ground beef and vegetables

  • Step 1
    Cook hamburger brown lightly and drain off the grease, into a grease can.Set the hamburger off to the side. Put the soup and water in the same pan you browned the beef in. Peel carrots and wash them off cut into 1/2" piecies add them to the skillet, then do the potatoes the same way, then the onions
  • Step 2
    Cook until all vegetables and tender, add the hamburger now. To thicken you can take a couple (2) of tablespoons of flour in a cup and add 1/2 cup of water and stir until smooth. Stir into skillet let cook for a few minutes.
