This flavorful potato combination gives a great new twist to everyday mashed! Having a 3:1 ratio provides not only a healthy benefit but a tastier side dish without being overly sweet!

Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes, peeled, washed and cubed
- 1 large sweet potato, peeled, washed and cubed
- 2 large pinches coarse sea salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup light sour cream, or to taste
- 1/4 cup 35% heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste (i always use mixed peppercorns)
- 2 large green onions (white and green parts), chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
How To Make mixed mashed potatoes

Step 1Boil potatoes in salty water until tender, about 20 to 25 minutes. Drain and transfer back to the pot.

Step 2Add butter and mash until well incorporated. Add sour cream, heavy cream, garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper; mash until mixed. Taste and adjust if necessary. Blend green onions in the potato mixture and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
