mashed potatoes holiday style
We love mashed potatoes at our house and I usually make them with chicken broth but this weekend I didn't have any. So I used vegetable broth not really knowing what I would end up with. These are the best mashed potatoes we have ever had. I hope you think so too.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds peeled russet potatoes
- 1 cup vegetable stock , varies (don't make too wet)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- - salt and pepper
How To Make mashed potatoes holiday style

Step 1Peel, quarter and boil potatoes in salted water until tender.

Step 2Drain potatoes and mash by hand. (There is just nothing like hand mashed potatoes)

Step 3Add vegetable broth a little at a time. Add about 1 tablespoon of butter per pound of potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste.
