Ingredients

  • 6 medium
    red potatoes
  • 6 large
    eggs, hard boiled
  • 1 c
    celery
  • 1/2 c
    onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip, salad dressing
  • 1 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • dash(es)
    paprika
  • 1/4 c
    sweet relish or chopped sweet pickles (optional

How to Make Mama D's Potato Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil potatoes and eggs in separate pans.
    Let cool.
    Peel and chop potatoes and put them in a large bowl.
  2. Peel eggs. Put the yolks in a separate bowl and mash. Chop the egg whites and add them to the potatoes.Add the celery and onion.
    Add the mustard, seasoned salt and miracle whip to the egg yolks and mix well.
  3. Add the egg yolk mixture to the potato mixture and mix carefully.
    Sprinkle paprika on top.
    Enjoy !
  4. I sometimes cook the potatoes and eggs the night before I am going to make the salad to make it a little easier.
