I just love the flavor of Havarti cheese its so creamy and topped on these potatoes it just adds to the creaminess and flavor , I never seem to make just plain mashed potatoes with out adding something for flavor .

Ingredients

4 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated havarti cheese
2 teaspoons salt
dash white pepper

How To Make havarti cheese mashed potatoes

Step 1

Preheat your oven @ 400°.

Step 2

Lightly grease a casserole dish and spread the mashed potatoes in the dish.
Step 3

Whip the cream until stiff and fold in the cheese and salt.
Step 4

Pour the cream mixture over top of the potatoes and spread evenly in the dish.
Step 5

Bake uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
