Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    green beans, trimmed
  • 1 lb
    redskin potatoes, quartered
  • 1-2
    sweet onions, sliced
  • 28 oz
    smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/8-1 tsp
    light salt or salt
  • 1/8-1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or light butter, sliced
  • 1/2-1 c
    water or broth if you use a slow cooker

How to Make Grilled or Slow Cooker Sausage & Veggies

Step-by-Step

  1. For the Grill; Arrange beans, potatoes, and onions on large sheet of aluminum foil; top with sausage.
    Add salt and pepper; dot with butter.
    Bring up aluminum foil around ingredients; sprinkle with water an close tightly.
  2. Place packets on a hot grill; cover and cook 30 to 45 minutes, turning once, until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender. Serves 4
  3. For the slow cooker; Spray the slow cooker and all indigents inside the slow cooker. Cook on high for four hours. Check and see all is tender.
