    fresh green beans
  • 1/2 pkg
    hickory smoked bacon
  • 1
    red onion
  • 1 tsp
    cruched red pepper flakes
  • 3 medium
    red potatoes
  • 2/3 c
    low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 clove

How to Make Green Beans with Bacon and Potatoes


  1. Cook bacon.
  2. Sauté onions and pepper flakes in bacon grease, add green beans, potatoes and chicken broth.Cover and cook until potatoes and beans are tender.
  3. When beans and potatoes are tender remove cover. Add garlic and cook until broth has evaporated.
  4. Add salt and pepper.
