Makes 6-8 servings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cups longhorn cheese, grated and firmly packed
- 1 cup cornflakes, crushed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
How To Make funeral potatoes

Step 1Saute onion in butter until translucent. Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and 4 T. butter, together. Put potato mixture in 13x9-inch baking pan. Combine cornflakes and butter, sprinkle evenly over top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.
