Ingredients

2 lb
frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 c
butter
2 can(s)
condensed cream of chicken soup
1 pt
sour cream
1/2 tsp
salt
3/4 c
onions, chopped
1 Tbsp
butter
2 c
longhorn cheese, grated and firmly packed
1 c
cornflakes, crushed
4 Tbsp
butter, melted

Step-By-Step

1Saute onion in butter until translucent. Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and 4 T. butter, together. Put potato mixture in 13x9-inch baking pan. Combine cornflakes and butter, sprinkle evenly over top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.
