- 1 pound bacon, cut up
- 12 medium potatoes,peeled and sliced
- 16 ounces mushrooms, fresh,sliced
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cans beer
- 1 can mushroom soup (optional)
- 2 large onions,chopped
How To Make dutch oven potatoes.

Step 1In a large cast iron dutch oven. Over med-high heat fry bacon,till chrisp. And onions and mushrooms. Cook for 3-4 min. Add potatoes.Cook till they start to brown. Add beer,cover and cook for abought 45 min Check 1/2 way through, you may need to add some beer.

Step 2After 45 min. Uncover add soup,stir and mix well. Cover and cook 10 min. Uncover sprinkle cheese over top,cover cook 5 min or till cheese melts. Serve hot with pork or beef...
