I love to cook potatoes in my dutch oven and I have been playing around with ways to cook them. So I came up with this and it was a big hit.

Ingredients
- 1 pound maple smoked bacon cut up.
- 12 medium potatoes,peeled and sliced
- 2 medium red onions
- 1 1/2 cups mushrooms sliced your choice.
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 can dark beer.(i use amber bock)
- 2 cloves garlic,diced
How To Make dutch oven cheese potatoes

Step 1In a 4QT cast iron dutch oven fry bacon,add onion and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add garlic,potatoes,mushrooms,cheese,soup,and beer.mix well.Cover and cook for 45-55 minutes..8 to 10 coals under and 6 to 8 coals on top...I serve over cooked wild rice.
