I found this recipe in a magazine and then added a few things to it.We really like these salmon cakes.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds potato peeled ,cut into small pieces
- - salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1-14.75 ounce can pink salmon,drained,skin and bones removed ,fish flaked
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 2 - scallions chopped green parts too
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup plain dry bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
How To Make dill salmon cakes

Step 1Cook potatoes till done drain then mash with butter salt pepper.set aside till cool.

Step 2stir salmon,dill,parley,and scallions into mashed potatoe .You can add more salt and pepper if you desire.Beat in 1 egg stir into potatoe mixture.Cover and chill for about 30 minutes.Divide into 6 pieces and shape into disks.Place flour and bread crumbs in shallow bowl.Beat remaining egg put in shallow bowl too.Coat disks with the flour dusting off excess,dip in egg.Then dip in bread crumbs.Repeat with remaining disks.

Step 3Put olive oil in large skillet over medium-low heat fry cakes until heated through about 8 to 9 minutes on per side.
