I wanted to try this just to see how it turned out in case I wanted roasted potatoes after being out for a while when I wouldn't have time to cook them the 'regular way'. We loved them!

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 5-6
small to medium potatoes (i used russet)
  • 2 TBS
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    sage, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
    greek seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    creole seasoning

How to Make Crock Pot Roasted Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. Peel and chunk potatoes.
  2. Mix evo with all the seasonings. You can also choose your own seasonings according to what you are serving or your personal taste. I just tried out different ones from my pantry. This recipe was served with New York Strip Steak, steamed broccoli & a salad. The next time I believe I will try Soul Food seasoning with salt & pepper......so many choices...
  3. Stir potatoes into mixture, and put into Crock pot. Cook on high for 2-2 1/2hrs.
I put a bag into my crock to keep from having a mess to clean. I'm sure you can cook at least 2 hours longer on low, maybe more.
