Ingredients

  • 3 qt
    water
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 5 c
    russet potatoes, diced , 1-inch cubes
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper

How to Make CREAM CHEESE POTATOES

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saucepan, combine water, salt, and potatoes. Bring to a boil; Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tender. Drain potatoes well and return to saucepan. Add cream cheese and butter, using a potato masher, mash potatoes mixture until cream cheese and butter are meted. Add parsley, garlic salt and pepper, stirring to combine well. Makes 4 1/2 cups.
