We all have our idea of great Au Gratin Potatoes, So mine is just one of my favorites to make. Quick easy and you always have it on hand...

Ingredients

  • 6 large
    russet potatoes, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    cheese, shredded
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Cheesy Au Gratin Potatos

Step-by-Step

  1. Arrange potato in a large 9 inch pan and set aside
  2. In a med sauce pan add butter, cook til melted. Slowly add the flour whisk til combine and cook for about 1-2 minutes(don't turn brown). Slowly add the milk and whisk fast to avoid lumps, cook for about 2-3 until thicken a bit.
  3. finally add 1 cup of cheese til little melted. Will finish in the oven.. Cook for 1 hour, then add the remaing cheese and cook till bubbly and cheeses is brown to your texture..
