My husband and I love Corned Beef & Cabbage so I desided to make my own version of it.

Ingredients For brandy's "irish stew"

    corned beef brisket
  • 1 sm
    head of red cabbage, quartered
  • 8 - 10
    carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 10 - 12
    brussel sprouts
  • 10 - 12
    potatoes, peeled and chopped

How To Make brandy's "irish stew"

    Put Corned Beef Brisket into a deep pot, fill pot with water until it just covers the brisket. Add seasoning packet that comes with the brisket.

    Set the burner on low and let the brisket slow cook for 9 hours.

    Add the Carrots and Potatoes. Let cook for another half hour,add the brussel sprouts, let cook for another half hour.

    Add the Red Cabbage, let cook for the remaining hour. Corned Beef should be tender and falling apart. Veggies and potatoes should be fully cooked. Enjoy!
