My husband and I love Corned Beef & Cabbage so I desided to make my own version of it.

Ingredients

  • 1 - corned beef brisket
  • 1 small head of red cabbage, quartered
  • 8 - 10 - carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 10 - 12 - brussel sprouts
  • 10 - 12 - potatoes, peeled and chopped

How To Make brandy's "irish stew"

  • Step 1
    Put Corned Beef Brisket into a deep pot, fill pot with water until it just covers the brisket. Add seasoning packet that comes with the brisket.
  • Step 2
    Set the burner on low and let the brisket slow cook for 9 hours.
  • Step 3
    Add the Carrots and Potatoes. Let cook for another half hour,add the brussel sprouts, let cook for another half hour.
  • Step 4
    Add the Red Cabbage, let cook for the remaining hour. Corned Beef should be tender and falling apart. Veggies and potatoes should be fully cooked. Enjoy!
