  • 4 c
    hot mashed sweet potatoes
  • 5 Tbsp
    buttered, melted
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 c
    peach brandy
  • 2 Tbsp
    light cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated orange rind

How to Make Brandied Sweet Potatoes


  1. Combine sweet potatoes, 4 tablespoons butter, sugar, spices and salt in bowl; mix well. Stir in Brandy and cream. Spoon into greased 1-quart casserole dish. Drizzle remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter over to. Sprinkle with orange rind.
  2. Bake at 375 for 30 to40 minutes or until browned.
