Ingredients

  • 4 cups hot mashed sweet potatoes
  • 5 tablespoons buttered, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon mace
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup peach brandy
  • 2 tablespoons light cream
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange rind

How To Make brandied sweet potatoes

  • Step 1
    Combine sweet potatoes, 4 tablespoons butter, sugar, spices and salt in bowl; mix well. Stir in Brandy and cream. Spoon into greased 1-quart casserole dish. Drizzle remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter over to. Sprinkle with orange rind.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 375 for 30 to40 minutes or until browned.
