Bacon Tater Bake

This is a very delicious side dish and I like to change it up with various meat. Sometimes I use chopped ham or chicken instead and shredded cheese on top. But, it/s just as delicious as without the cheese.

cream of mushroom soup undiluted, 10.5 oz each
1-1/3 c
sour cream
1 large
onion, chopped
1 lb
sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
32 oz pkg
frozen tater tots
1 tsp
garlic powder with parsley
1/2 tsp
sea salt
1/4 tsp
white pepper
shredded cheese, optional

How to Make Bacon Tater Bake


  • 1Cook bacon until crispy and done through.
  • 2In a large bowl, combine the soup, sour cream, onion, and spices.
  • 3Add the bacon and tater tots. Stir until all combined.
  • 4Transfer to a greased 13x9x2" baking dish. Top with cheese if desired. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
  • 5Uncover and bake for 8-10 minutes longer or until golden brown (and cheese is melted if used).
  • 6Yields: 10 servings; can be downsized for a smaller dish
