This delicious casserole makes a great side dish. You can use leftover mashed potatoes if you have them or instant, if you like.

Ingredients

  • 4 c
    potatoes, mashed
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 1/2 c
    margerine, melted
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese

How to Make AuGratin Mashed Potato Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
    Place half the potatoes in the dish.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup parmesean cheese.
  2. Cover with the remaining potatoes.
    Sprinkle the remaining cup of cheddar chees over the potatoes.
    Top with the breadcrumbs that have been mixed with 1/2 cup melted margerine.
  3. Bake at 450' for 20-25 munutes until cheese is melted and crumbs are brown.
