My Mom's Homemade Noodles

Zelda Hopkins

My Mom was a great cook but she did like simple recipes. These are so simple and they are so much better than anything you can buy. The art of homemade is disappearing but maybe we can pass a few things down. Enjoy!!!!!

  • 1 tsp

How to Make My Mom's Homemade Noodles

  1. Combine eggs, milk, and salt. If you want you can also add the baking powder. Beat egg mixture until combined well. Then start adding flour until mixture will form a ball and keep adding flour until it is no longer sticky. Roll out on floured surface and let dry for 3 hours. Then roll into log and cut at 1/2 inch. Unroll and break into noodles.I put more flour in at that time. When your Broth is hot put a few at a time and stir with fork to keep them from clumping together.Add all noodles and flour and the broth will become gravey like. These are also good for soups.
