elbow macaroni, cooked
1 can(s)
14.5 oz. petite diced tomatoes
1 can(s)
14.5 oz. whole tomatoes in juice
1 Tbsp
bacon grease (can add more)
1/2 tsp
salt to taste

How to Make Macaroni and Tomatoes


  • 1Prepare macaroni in boiling, salted water according to package direction. Drain
  • 2Return pasta to cooking pot and add the diced tomatoes. Break up the whole tomatoes in juice and add to pot.
  • 3Add bacon grease, salt and pepper. Stir together well and simmer for about 15 minutes.
