This is a healthy take on mac and cheese. Kids love it and its great and so easy

Ingredients

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 2 medium yellow squash (shredded
  • 3-4 cups shredded sharp chedder cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • CROCK POT MACCORRONI AND CHEESE
  • 1 box shell maccorroni pasta

How To Make healthy mac and cheese

  • Step 1
    Pre-cook the pasta till they are almost done.
  • Step 2
    Wile they are cooking mince the onion and shred the squash.
  • Step 3
    In a large crock pot add the oil and onion and begin cooking. ( For cooking in 3-4 hours put on low for 1.5-2 hour cooking use on High)
  • Step 4
    Drain the pasta.
  • Step 5
    Add the pasta to the oil and onion. Then begin adding all other ingredients. Stir the mixture and let cook.
