This recipe was given to me by an old friend of my mom's of German decent. This is a recipe she and her family often ate for breakfast. I have not tried this yet!

How To Make grease noodles

Step 1Add salt to boiling water and 3/4 lb. wide noodles. Cook until tender and drain. Heat 1/2 cup lard in frying pan and add 1 cup regular cream of wheat. When browned add enough hot water to thicken. Put noodles over cream of wheat and mix well. Each person put sugar over the grease noodles and serve with any kind of fruit.

Step 2Note: I usually use butter instead of the grease. and I use cream or milk to thicken. And cook down until thicken to your liking. So good.
