easy garlic noodles

I love noodles and these tasty ones do not disappoint. I could quite happily eat these all by myself. These tasty noodles are good served hot, cool or at room temperature. They are the perfect accompaniment for meats or seafood. Personally, I like these with a little bit of thin sliced lettuce or cabbage.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces yellow egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons fresh garlic, smashed, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 pinch salt + pepper, optional

How To Make easy garlic noodles

  • Step 1
    Put your drained noodles in a large bowl and set aside until needed.
  • Step 2
    Put a frying pan over low heat and add the butter.
  • Step 3
    Once the butter is melted add the garlic and cook until golden and fragrant.
  • Step 4
    Now add the fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice wine and sugar. Make sure to mix well.
  • Step 5
    Take the pan off the heat and add in the noodles.
  • Step 6
    Toss well to coat the noodles, taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary. If using salt and pepper add in now.
  • Step 7
    When ready to eat, put the noodles on serving plates and garnish with the green onions.
