Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 teaspoons chicken better than bouillon (or 2 bouillon cube)
- 1 cup dry orzo
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (not the green can stuff)
How To Make creamy tomato orzo

Step 1Bring water and bouillon to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir in orzo and return to a boil. Reduce heat slightly and cook 15 minutes, or until orzo is done. Drain excess liquid, if needed. Return to pan

Step 2Stir in butter, tomato paste, cream, basil and parsley. Bring back to temperature. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Just before serving, stir in parmesan cheese.
