Ingredients
- 8 ounces dry medium egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups small curd cottage cheese
- 8 ounces carton sour cream
- 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1/2 cup cashew halves
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/2 cup romano cheese, grated
How To Make cashew noodles

Step 1Cook noodles according to the package directions; drain well. Combine the noodles and butter in a large bowl, stirring gently until the butter melts. Set aside.

Step 2Combine the cottage cheese and next 8 ingredients in a medium bowl, stir well. Add the cottage cheese mixture to the noodle mixture; toss gently.

Step 3Pour into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with Romano cheese. Bake uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
