Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 32 ounces frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping

How To Make strawberry pretzel salad

  • Step 1
Create Jell-O layer first: Dissolve Jell-O into boiling water. Remove from heat, and add frozen strawberries. Allow to set up in the refrigerator for 2 hours until it is set up but still pourable. While Jell-O is setting up, prepare the pretzel and cream cheese layers.
  • Step 2
Next, create a pretzel layer: You will need 2 cups of crushed pretzels. Mix with melted butter and 2 Tbsp sugar. Press into a 9x13 dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for ten minutes. Remove from oven, and allow to cool.
  • Step 3
Next, create the cream cheese layer. Use a hand mixer to mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel layer. Refrigerate until the Jell-O layer is set up.
  • Step 4
Once Jell-O is set up fairly well, pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
