If you are wondering how to prepare this ancient grain, this will take away the mystery. I tried this recipe for the first time last week and loved it. I recommemd that you serve this with a dollop of sour cream for a little added creaminess.
I got this recipe from allrecipes and made some of my own adjustments. I don't care for cilantro so I used Parsley and added the sour cream.

  • 2Mix quinoa and cover with vegetable broth. Season with cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
